Because #playmatters

Verb Engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose. To occupy oneself in amusement, sport or other recreation.

Noun Activity engaged in for enjoyment and recreation, especially by children.

What is play, you ask? You may as well ask what it means to laugh, enquire, take turns, pretend, attempt, trifle, imagine, participate, jest, share, act out, have fun, imitate, cooperate, amuse. You may as well ask what it means to be a child.

Some of my blogging friends are building a playful community. Would you like to be a part of this too? 

All you have to do is:

1. If you’re on Pinterest, follow the  #playmatters Pinterest board

2. If you’re on Instagram, take photos of your kids playing, and tag #playmatters.
